Coors Waterfall

The Coors Waterfall Story

Locals have long called the seasonal cascade along Belleview the “Coors Waterfall.” Over the decades, Coors used multiple waterfall images on its labels; the proximity of Coors’ residences and the resemblance to our local falls helped cement the nickname.

The nearby falls is fed by the Bergen Ditch off Turkey Creek. It surges during spring runoff, then recedes once reservoir obligations are met. While we associate this with the Coors labels, it is was not actually used for the artwork.
